WINSTON-SALEM, NC : A late afternoon monsoon rolled across the famed quarter-mile oval at Bowman Gray Stadium on Saturday, which eventually led to officials with no choice but to cancel the scheduled races for the night.
Next up for John Holleman will be a doubleheader weekend to celebrate the Memorial Day holiday. On Saturday, May 28th the Midway Mobile Storage Dodge Challenger will compete in the longest race of the year for the Sportsman division as they tackle Bowman Gray Stadium for 100 laps. Holleman will enter the event tied for third in points after just three official races as weather has been a player every week so far.
Then on Memorial Day Monday, the team will head North to the brand new Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, Virginia for the sixth event of the 2016 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East schedule with the ComServe Wireless 150 that afternoon. Full event schedule will be released early on next week.
